The plaintiff was performing demolition work when a flash fire caused a highly flammable chemical to explode. His entire body was burned and he died one day after the explosion due to his injuries.
While the defense disputed the cause of the explosion, Wayne O’Bryan fought vigorously to prove that this was a wrongful death. Mr. O’Bryan won a settlement of $1,000,000 for the plaintiff, as well as $60,000 for special damages.
